1. Who we are

This website is run by Plug2Mart Legacy Pvt. Ltd. ("Plug2Mart", "we", "us"), a home appliances, furniture and rooftop solar retailer based in Etah, Uttar Pradesh. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, our survey visits and our installation process, and how we use and protect it. It follows the Information Technology Act, 2000, the rules made under it, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

2. What we collect

When you fill the survey form

• Your name and WhatsApp or phone number.

During the survey, quotation and subsidy application

• Site address and photographs of your roof taken for shade and structure analysis.
• Electricity bill details: consumer number, name on the bill, sanctioned load and past usage.
• Identity and bank details needed for the PM Surya Ghar portal and subsidy credit, such as Aadhaar, PAN and your Aadhaar-linked bank account.
• Property or ownership documents, where the DISCOM or portal asks for them.

Only if you ask for EMI

• KYC and income documents required by the finance partner you choose.

Collected automatically

• IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and how you reached this page. This comes from cookies, analytics and advertising tools such as Google and Meta.

3. Why we use it

• To call or WhatsApp you back about your enquiry and schedule your free site survey.
• To prepare your written system sizing report and quotation.
• To register you on the PM Surya Ghar national portal, apply for net metering with DVVNL, and track your subsidy until it is credited.
• To process EMI with a finance partner, only when you ask for it.
• To install, service and maintain your system, including warranty and AMC visits.
• To measure and improve our website and advertisements.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.

4. Who we share it with

We share data only where your project needs it:

• Government bodies and portals: the PM Surya Ghar national portal (MNRE), UPNEDA and DVVNL, for registration, net metering, inspection and subsidy.
• Finance partners: only if you choose EMI, and only what that lender requires.
• Our own team: survey, installation and service staff who need it to do the job.
• Service providers: website hosting, messaging and analytics providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality.
• Legal requirements: when required by law, court order or a government authority.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data.

5. Calls and WhatsApp messages

By submitting the form you agree that we may contact you by phone call, SMS or WhatsApp about your enquiry, survey and project, even if your number is on the DND register. You can ask us to stop at any time by replying STOP on WhatsApp or telling us on a call.

6. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tools to understand how visitors use this page and to measure our ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website will still work.

7. How we protect your data

We follow reasonable security practices. Documents are accessed only by staff working on your project, and we never ask for OTPs, UPI PINs or passwords. If anyone claiming to be from Plug2Mart asks for these, do not share them and call us on 82660-54446.

8. How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your enquiry, installation, subsidy, warranty and AMC need it, and for as long as the law requires us to keep business records. Enquiry data that does not turn into a project is deleted or anonymised once it is no longer needed.

9. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you and how it is used.
• Ask us to correct or update it.
• Ask us to erase it, where we are not legally required to keep it.
• Withdraw your consent at any time. Note that if your subsidy application is in progress, withdrawing consent may stop it from being processed.
• Nominate a person to exercise these rights on your behalf.
• Raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer, and then with the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied.

10. Children

This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

11. Links to other websites

This page links to government portals and other websites. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave our site.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
